Eli Ennis and offensive lineman
Evan Roussel have been named to the 2024 Phil Steele FCS Mid-Season All-America Team. Ennis was a third-team selection while Roussel made second team.
In his first season at inside linebacker, Ennis ranks fourth in the Southland Conference with 9.3 tackles per game. In addition to his 6.0 tackles for loss, Ennis has two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception.
Roussel continues to anchor the Colonels' offensive line in his fifth season at center. The Nicholls offense ranks third in the SLC in points per game (27.4) and in rushing (175.9 ypg), however, the top two rushing teams in the league faced non Division I opponents.

Nicholls will welcome McNeese for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 26. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
