THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team will host Southern University on Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m.
 
Last week, the Colonels (27-16, 10-5 SLC) dropped a pair of road games at LSU and LA Tech, while Southern (18-22, 11-8 SWAC) enters the contest after losing league series at PVAMU.
 
Earlier this season, the Red & Gray exploded for 31 runs and pitched two shutouts in a three-game sweep of the Jaguars. Nicholls has won 10 of the last 12 meetings and lead the series since 2008 17-10.

ON DECK
After a week off from SLC action, Nicholls will return to league play against UWI in San Antonio on May 3-5.
