THIBODAUX, La. - Following a repeat as Southland Conference Tournament champions, the Nicholls State University baseball team will head to the Pacific Northwest as the No. 3 seed in the Corvallis Regional for the 2024 NCAA Baseball Championship.
Nicholls (38-20) will open up the regional against No. 2 UC Irvine (43-12) at 3 p.m. central on Friday, May 31. Host No. 1 Oregon State (42-14) is set to play No. 4 Tulane (35-24) at 8 p.m.
The Colonels are making their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and fifth all-time. Nicholls ran the table once again in the SLC Tournament with a 4-0 record, earning the league's automatic bid. The Colonels are the first repeat tournament championships since Sam Houston won in 2016 and '17.

All-session tickets for the regional go on sale Monday morning at 11 a.m. PT and can be purchased by visiting BeaverTickets.com. If single-sessions tickets are available, they will go on sale at 9 a.m. the day of the game.
