THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls State University Athletics will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at the Boucvalt Athletic Complex to introduce softball head coach Ron Frost and soccer head coach Kristy Helmers.

The press conference will be open to the general public. Parking is available at Barker Hall or at the lots near John L. Guidry Stadium. 

Coach Frost was promoted to head coach of the softball program after serving as an assistant for three seasons. Coach Helmers returns to Thibodaux after spending four years as an assistant coach and graduate assistant for Friends University. Helmers played for the Colonels from 2016-19 and was a four-year starter.
