FRISCO, Texas - Nicholls State University had 114 student-athletes named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's 2024 Fall Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes in the sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball who maintained at least a 3.0 grade-point average for the semester.

Included in the honorees are 22 student-athletes who had a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Football had 50 student-athletes on the list, followed by women's soccer with 27. The women's cross country team had 13, the men's squad had 10 honorees, and 14 members of the volleyball made the list. 

Four football student-athletes on the list also earned All-Academic honors  -- Zack Bernard, Jake Dalmado, Collin Guggenheim, and Pat McQuaide.

For the semester, Nicholls student-athletes registered a collective 3.14 GPA and a total of 15 Colonels earned their degree.
