FRISCO, Texas - After playing in just his second tournament, Nicholls State University men's golfer James Bould has been named Southland Conference Men's Golfer of the Month. 

Bould competed as an individual in HCU's Colin Montgomerie and tied for fifth place out of 78 golfers. He finished with a 215 (+2) which was five strokes back of medalist honors.

Bould posted the second lowest round of the event with a 68 (-3), helped by five birdies. He opened the tournament with a 74 and finished up with a 73.
