MATHEWS, La. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team will wrap up its fall season by hosting its annual LaTour Intercollegiate on Oct. 19-20 at the LaTour Golf Club.
Nicholls will welcome nine teams including Southland Conference programs East Texas A&M, HCU, LSU New Orleans, and Southeastern. Also taking on the 7,277-yard, par-71 course are Loyola New Orleans, Prairie View A&M, Spring Hill College, Southern, and Texas Southern.
Monday's play will consist of 36 holes and the final round on Tuesday will be 18 holes.
The Colonels will have eight golfers competing in its home tournament. The team lineup consists of
Ongsa Booncharn,
James Bould,
Ethan Marx,
Jack Moro, and
Kyle Traub. Playing as individuals will be
Elliot Aucoin,
Ashton Green, and
Chase Pochylko.
Nicholls is coming off a fourth-place showing at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate where Booncharn, Bould and Marx all garnered a Top 20 finish.
For last year's LaTour, Traub claimed his first Top 10 finish as he tied for seventh with a 9-under.
