THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team returns to action for the spring season at the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate on Monday, Feb. 23 and Tuesday, hosted by the University of New Orleans at English Turn.

Nicholls will have a full day on Monday with 36 holes before playing 18 on Tuesday. Action gets underway both days with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
Joining the Colonels and host New Orleans are Augusta, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Bellarmine, Belmont, Central Arkansas, Eastern Illinois, Loyola Chicago, Murray State, St. John's, Southeastern, Southern Indiana, and Tennessee Tech.

Taking on the par 72, 7,078-yard course for head coach
James Schilling will be
Alston Manne,
Jack Moro,
Chase Pochylko,
Kyle Traub and
Zachary Morvant.
In the Colonels' last outing, Traub shot under par in all three rounds and finished with a 9-under 207 to tie for sixth place in the LaTour Intercollegiate in October. As a team, Nicholls shot an 874 (294-286-294) to place seventh out of 15 teams.
