THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team was beaten 7-4 by UTRGV on Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field on Sunday afternoon.

Karson Irvin to score from third.
The Vaqueros retook the lead in the eighth inning on a base hit to center field. UTRGV then extended their lead with two runs in the ninth The Colonels had two hits in the final two innings but was unable to tie or take the lead.
