Nicholls Men's Golf Fires a 291 to Close Out Austin Peay Intercollegiate

DICKSON, Tenn. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team closed out the Austin Peay Intercollegiate on a high note by shooting a 291 on Tuesday as the Colonels tied for 10th place at the Greystone Golf Club.

Nicholls totaled a 304 and a 300 in Monday's opening rounds before turning in the seventh best score of the final round. The Colonels moved up one spot in the standings, finishing four strokes behind Cleveland State.

James Bould led the Colonels with a 223--75-75-73 to tie for 38th place, and was closely followed by Robert Leo Arnorsson who totaled a 224--75-76-73. Bould had 29 pars on Monday and followed with four birdies in the final round.

Jack Moro and Chase Pochylko tied with a 228, while Kyle Traub shot a 231. Moro posted the best round for the Colonels with a 1-under 71 to close out Monday's action. Pochylko carded an even 72 to pace Nicholls on Tuesday.

Jacksonville State won the team title with a 15-under, and their Will Drake shared medalist honors UT Martin's Grant Phillips as both shot 208.
