Aislinn Wright was named Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week as the league office announced its first weekly superlatives of the season.
Wright had an outstanding showing in the opening week of action. The Front Royal, Virginia native tallied 10 saves in the first game of the season to help Nicholls secure a point in a 2-2 draw against LA Tech. She recorded one save in the second game of the week to help shut out UAPB in an 11-0 victory. After her stout week in goal Wright is tied for the most saves in the SLC.

Kaylie Harris was named as an honorable mention for the SLC's Defensive Player of the Week award. The Southlake, Texas native registered five points in the win over UAPB as she scored twice and had one assist.
