THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's soccer team will cross state lines to take on Prairie View A&M University on Thursday, Sept. 3. Kickoff from Lady Panther Soccer Field is scheduled for 3 p.m.
 
Nicholls (2-2-2) split its games last week as they dropped a road contest at Louisiana (2-0) before returning home to defeat LCU (6-0).
 
The Colonels have scored 25 goals this season as Olyvia Pugh, Alyssa Wheeler, and Sammi Doyle have four apiece. Pugh leads the team with 12 points as she adds four assists while Wheeler is just behind her with 11 points and three assists. The Red & Gray defense is anchored by goalkeeper Aislinn Wright who has 28 saves on the season.
 
PVAMU (0-5) returns home after playing road games against North Dakota State and the University of North Dakota. The Lady Panthers scored their first two goals of the season as they lost 1-3 and 1-4, respectively.
