2023 Season (Redshirt Senior): Put together a decorated season, earning All-Southland First Team, All-Defensive, and All-Academic First Team... selected to ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region squad...named Southland All-Tournament and Tournament MVP... landed on All-Louisiana First Team... started all 57 games played in right field... had a breakout season after earning all-conference last year, finishing as the league's third-leading hitter with a .375 average... also ranked in the top 10 in doubles (17), triples (4), and RBIs (44)... racked up 25 multi-hit games and had the longest hitting streak in the SLC, piecing together a remarkable 19-game streak... was a two-time SLC Hitter of the Week... was stellar in right field again with seven outfield assists and just one error.
2022 Season (Redshirt Junior): Started 49 of 50 games... named All-Southland Second Team and SLC All-Defensive (Right Field)... posted a .298 batting average and tied for the team lead with 11 doubles and nine home runs... totaled 54 hits, 46 runs and 30 RBIs... led the team with 17 multi-hit games, including four-hit outing in a win at Memphis... had 27 walks and 11 hit-by-pitches... put down two sacrifice bunts and had three sac flies... was 12 of 15 in stolen bases... had nine outfield assists... put together a seven-game hitting streak and reached base in the final 15 games... batted right handed after switch hitting his first three seasons.
2021 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Started 51 of 55 games played... totaled 35 hits for a .189 batting average... had seven doubles, a triple, and two home runs... scored 21 runs and drove in 16... drew 28 free passes with 23 walks and five hit-by-pitches... had five sacrifice bunts and two sac flies... was 12 of 13 in stolen bases... had four multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3 for 5 day at Northwestern State, where he also had three RBIs and a homer... his first career home run came against Lamar (4/17).
2020 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): One of just two Colonels (2B Nathan Tribble) start all 18 games of the shortened season, all in the outfield ... racked up a team-second best .292 batting average off 21 hits and two doubles ... posted four RBIs, including a key walk-off single against in-state rival McNeese (2/24) ... also scored seven times for the Red & Gray ... earned nine walks and swiped eight steals as well.
2019 Season (Sophomore): Did not see game action due to season-ending injury ... redshirted.
2018 Season (Freshman): Served as an instant impact player for the Colonels as a rookie, picking up 53 outfield starts as well as 57 overall appearances ... batted a competitive .277 behind 53 hits, 13 of which for extra bases ... notched 32 runs scored while driving home 22 RBIs of his own ... also picked up 16 walks and five steals.
High School/Prep: Attended Terrebonne High School in Houma, La. ... earned the American Legion School Award for possessing high qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service.
Personal: Born Xane Abraham Washington on Aug. 11… has three siblings: Xavier, Xariel and Xaria … son of Monica and Tommy Washington … playing baseball for his brother who tore both of his ACLs and did not have the opportunity to play baseball after high school … dietetics major.
