THIBODAUX, La. – Following a three-game set against the University of Arizona, the Nicholls State University baseball team continues its tough road stretch Tuesday in Baton Rouge against No. 17 LSU before returning to the Did Wednesday to face the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
First pitch at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The contest will air online via SEC Network +, accessible through WatchESPN.com or the ESPN app. The game on Wednesday against the Lions is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Colonels (9-18) were riding high into Tucson, topping Mississippi State for the first time in program history, 7-4, on March 27. Nicholls is hoping to shake a three-game skid as it was outscored 31-11 against the University of Arizona.

The Tigers (18-11) took 2-of-3 against the Bulldogs this past weekend, allowing just three earned runs in 27 innings. As a team, LSU is batting .295 with injured infielder
Brandt Broussard leading the way at .363. Its pitching staff has a 3.82 ERA and 279 strikeouts in 256.2 innings.
