THIBODAUX, La. -- Thursday afternoon, Nicholls State University head women's soccer coach Danny Free confirmed the Colonels added a non-conference match against Louisiana-Lafayette, slating the contest with the Ragin' Cajuns for Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in Lafayette, La. For the Red & Gray, the non-conference game will essentially serve as a replacement for the previously scrapped Louisiana Tech home match, as inclement weather forced the official cancellation just over a week ago.

UP NEXT
With the three-game home stretch to open the season concluded, the Colonels shift their focus to a four-match roadtrip, beginning with Prairie View A&M on Sunday, Sept. 8 and concluding with the program's conference opener at Lamar on Friday, Sept. 20.
