DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. – The Nicholls State University men's golf team ended its second tournament of the year with only two rounds in the books, as the Gulf Coast Collegiate's final round was suspended Tuesday due to weather.
The 12-team field played the majority of the final round before heavy rain halted action. With Tuesday's round canceled, scores from Monday's 36 holes served as the final. Nicholls finished 12th out of 12 teams, shooting a 312-324—636.
Mickael Najmark led Nicholls with a 76-79—155, tying for 32nd. He and
Victor Le Gal each totaled four birdies in the two rounds.
Southeastern Louisiana and UT Martin shared the team championship with 589s, while Central Arkansas' Nate Jolly won medalist honors with a 4-under 72-68—140.
