THIBODAUX, La. -- Head Men's Golf Coach James Schilling is pleased to officially introduce The Under Par Club on Tuesday afternoon, establishing a booster organization fully dedicated to supporting and enhancing the student-athlete experience of the Nicholls men's golf program.

"Please join me in supporting our golf program and providing our team members with an excellent student-athlete experience," Schilling said. "We have an opportunity to build a foundation which can serve future generations of Colonels for years to come, and I am thrilled to take the first step with the launch of the Under Par Club."

The Under Par Club will feature four unique membership options with multiple perks and benefits, including one-on-one training sessions with a Nicholls men's golf head coach James Schilling, exclusive team gear such as golf balls and travel bags, a monthly newsletter with additional details on the program and much more.

According to Director of Athletics Jonathan Terrell, the addition of The Under Par Club to the Nicholls Athletics booster profile serves as a key bridge between one of the lesser-followed programs on campus and the Colonels' thriving alumni community.

"We remain confident in the pure potential this program has displayed over the past couple years in terms of establishing itself within the NCAA golf community, and I look forward to launching The Under Par Club to continue bolstering that success," Terrell said. "Every student-athlete here at Nicholls deserves access to all the resources this department, community and alumni network has to offer, and I believe The Under Par Club acts as the ideal jumping-off point in reaching the 'next level' for Nicholls men's golf."
