MATHEWS, La. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team finishes up its fall slate by hosting the LaTour Intercollegiate at the LaTour Golf Club on Monday (Oct. 21) and Tuesday.

Nicholls and 11 other programs -- HCU, Lindenwood, Mobile, New Orleans, Prairie View A&M, South Dakota, Southern, Southeastern, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Commerce, UT-Martin -- will take on the 7,177 yard par 72 course. LSU will have four golfers competing as individuals.

Monday's play will consist of 36 holes with an 7:45 a.m. shotgun start. The final round on Tuesday will be 18 holes.

Coach James Schilling is set to have nine Colonels compete in a field of 72 total golfers. The lineup will feature Jack Moro, Chase Pochylko, Diego Prat Cruza, Zachary Morvant and Kyle Traub. Competing as individuals are James Bould, Peyton Canter, Ethan Marx and Dylan Weber.

Pochylko is coming off a top 20 finish in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate. In last year's LaTour, he also led the way as he tied for 12th with an even 216. Stephen F. Austin secured the team title with a -13 for the event while HCU's Brooks Pawlak took medalist honors at -8 competing as an individual.
