THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team returns to Kerrville, Texas for the second year in a row for the Southland Conference Championship, held at Comanche Trace.
Monday's start is set for 11 a.m. and the Colonels will be paired up with New Orleans in the first round. Tuesday's round will begin at 11 a.m. as well with Wednesday's final 18 scheduled for a 10 a.m. start. The final round will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Jack Moro heads the Colonel lineup, followed by
James Bould,
Kyle Traub,
Chase Pochylko, and
Zachary Morvant.
Diego Prat Cruza will serve as an alternate.
In the 2024 championship, Nicholls placed ninth and Moro was the top finisher for the returnees at 35th place. His low round of 76 came on Day 2 and totaled a 232 for the event.
The winning team and top individual finisher at the SLC Championship will earn the Southland's automatic berth in the NCAA Championship.
