Nicholls Baseball Adds Spring Hill College to its 2015 Schedule

THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team has added a matchup with Spring Hill College, slated for 6 p.m. on Monday at Ray E. Didier Field, Head Coach Seth Thibodeaux announced Friday.

The Colonels (21-14-1, 10-8 SLC) originally had an eight-day break between games, but with the addition of the Badgers, will now have seven days between contests. The interval is the longest break in action for Nicholls in the Seth Thibodeaux era. Since 2011, the Colonels have not gone more than five days without a playing game in either the regular season or postseason.

The Colonels will face Spring Hill on Monday before hosting Grambling State at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Nicholls is coming off of a 2-1 Southland Conference series victory over Central Arkansas over the weekend.
