THIBODAUX, La. - Senior
Baker Stevenson ended the Seminole Intercollegiate with a 1-under 71 in the final round Sunday afternoon as the Nicholls State University men's golf team wrapped up play at the Golden Eagle Country Club.
Stevenson was solid throughout the round Sunday, sinking two birdies with only one bogey. He finished with a three-round score of 229.
Ben Baker led Nicholls in the intercollegiate, tying for 39th with a 220.
Connor Campbell shot a 235,
Jack Lee finished with a 237 and
Warut Wongrungroj was a stroke behind at 238.
Nicholls shot its lowest round Sunday, carding a 302. But with a total count of 911, the Colonels slipped down one spot behind Morehead State (904).
Wake Forest edged Florida State for the team title, 851-852. Wake's Parker Gilliam and Jacksonville's Thomas Thurloway shared the individual medalist honors with 8-under 208s.Â
