2021 SPRING SCHEDULE

James Schilling announced Friday the Colonels' 2021 Spring competition schedule, highlighted by the annual LaTour Intercollegiate held at the LaTour Golf Club in Mathews.
Nicholls will compete in six events for the spring, capped by the Southland Conference Championship in McKinney, Texas. Two of the tournaments will be held in Louisiana, while three are in Texas and one in Mississippi.
The Colonels start the year in the LaTour Intercollegiate (Feb. 14-15), slated for a day earlier due to Mardi Gras. It will be the third year that Nicholls will tee off the spring at LaTour. In the 2020 event, the Colonels came away with a fourth-place finish.
For the second year in a row, Nicholls will co-host the Gulf Coast Collegiate (March 1-2) in Diamondhead, Mississippi with Southland Conference member New Orleans. The collegiate featured 10 teams with the Privateers taking the title last year.
The first trip to Texas will be for the Colin Montgomerie HBU Invitational (March 8-9). After the Moe O'Brien Invitational (March 29-30) in Lake Charles, Louisiana to close out the month, the final two events will be the Bayou City Collegiate (April 5-6) in Houston and the SLC Championship (April 26-28).
Last year's SLC Championship was canceled due to COVID-19. The pandemic also canceled the fall season for the Colonels.
