KENNESAW, Ga. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team finished off its three-event fall schedule by taking 10th place in the Pinetree Intercollegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State.

Nicholls moved up to eighth on the leaderboard in Tuesday's final round before sliding back to 10th. The Colonels totaled a 910 for the tournament (301-302-307), finishing 11 strokes behind New Orleans and 15 of Western Kentucky. The Red and Gray finished 13 strokes ahead of Eastern Kentucky.

Host Kennesaw State took the team title with an 861, besting Arkansas State by eight strokes. Brock Healy also won medalist honors for KSU with a 210. 

Ryan O'Neil and Braxton Kuntz led Nicholls with 223s, tying for 26th overall. The duo was followed by Liam Bryden (229), Mickael Najmark (236) and Martin Trochu (242). 

ROUND 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- O'Neil led the team with an even 72
- Najmark and Bryden both eagled Hole 15.
- Kuntz finished with a team-high six birdies.
- Colonels shot their lowest round of the tournament (301).

ROUND 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Kuntz shot a team-low 71 (-1), aided by two birdies and an eagle.
- O'Neil and Kuntz eagled Hole 11.
- Bryden had a team-high three birdies.

ROUND 3 HIGHLIGHTS
- Bryden led the way with a +1. Posted a -1 on the front with a birdie and eight pars.
- Kuntz paced the team in birdies for the second round with three.
