THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University women's tennis home opener against Louisiana Tech scheduled for Sunday (Feb. 14) has been canceled due to expected wintry conditions in the northern part of the state. 

The match was originally scheduled for Friday but was postponed two days due to inclement weather. With sleet in the forecast for the Ruston area, Louisiana Tech will be unable to travel. 

The Colonels will return to the courts next Friday (Feb. 19) at Samford.
